In the East Rift valley we mostly rode on small quiet roads. This is on the way to 5th night stop that we spent in a spa hotel equipped with natural hot sources.
When approaching the hot spring hotel, we pass many shops like this. They sell swimsuits.
This is the closest we came with indigenous culture.
One of our lunch breaks took place in the farmers association. Food is 100 procent fresh and tasty.
There are lots of stray dogs in Taiwan. Maybe this has a master, it is taking nap in fron to one of thos betel nut booths that are scattered along the busy roads.
I love dogs.
At first sight this looks like a camping site, but it is not. It is a cemetary.
The last evening I had a small accident. I tried to dance gagnam style on the bicycle. This was the result.
So sweet. After 6 days and 640 km, you have the right to take a nap when ever you want.
My cycling end here, at Ruisui. The photo is taken in front of the railway station. Train to Hualien is waiting then change to another one that bring me to Taipei.
Officially cycling ends in these waffles and coffee at Hualien railway station. Glory to god!
